I am thrilled to announce that Care.com has acquired Trusted! Trusted and Care.com share the same vision, mission, values and goals. Care.com is a mission-driven technology company that has been working on this space for over a decade, and we couldn’t be more excited to be joining them on this journey. Care.com loves Trusted for the same reason that all of you do — we provide access to wonderful caregivers on demand when families need them — and we will continue to do this.

What’s Next?

In the last 3 years, we have done some incredible things: we launched 3 additional markets (New York area, LA area, Seattle area), while growing our SF Bay Area market, we launched our corporate benefits program and we have built apps that parents and caregivers truly love. We are incredibly proud of everything we have accomplished.

Trusted will continue to operate as a product and service. In joining the Care.com team, we remain committed to delivering quality child care. Together with Care.com, we have already started planning to enhance Trusted’s product, offerings and geographical footprint, while integrating it more closely on to Care.com’s products. We are eagerly looking forward to what the future holds.

Q: Will there be any changes to pricing?
A: There will be no changes to the pricing at this time.

Q: Will there be a monthly subscription fee?
A: There will be no subscription fees required at this time to use Trusted.

Q: Should I download the Care.com app to use Trusted?
A: The two apps will remain separate for now.

Q: Will the customer service/support change in any way?
A: No — we will continue to offer customer support through Trusted. Feel free to reach out to us at any time: support@usetrusted.com

Q: Is there an added benefit by being a Care.com customer?
A: We are working on integrating and providing more value as a Care.com customer. We will be sure to communicate any changes to you as soon as possible.

Q: How will the caregiver vetting change?
A: We plan to keep our vetting process to bring Trusted caregivers onboard the same.

If you are a caregiver who is employed by Trusted…

Q: Will my hourly rate change?
A: Your base rate will not change.

Q: Will parents pay me directly?
A: You will continue to receive your earnings via direct deposit. You can continue to log into Paycom to review your paystubs.

Q: Will my pay day change?
A: Our paydays remains biweekly on Tuesdays.

Q: Do I still have to wear my Trusted jacket?
A: Yes! Our Trusted protocol remains the same. You are expected to wear your jacket, carry your Trusted tote bag, lead the parent intro conversation upon arrival, and leave a completed summary at the end of your booking.

Q: Will the technology/customer service/support change in any way?
A: We are excited to work with the Care.com team to build additional features and enhancements into the provider app (and parent app!). If you have ideas around how the provider app can better fit your needs, please feel free to let us know! Our support team will continue to be available to assist you and our families around the clock. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or need your bookings adjusted.

Q: Do I say I work for Trusted or care.com?
A: You remain a care provider with Trusted, which has become a subsidiary of Care.com

Q: What will change with my employment status?
A: You remain employed by Trusted, now a subsidiary of Care.com, with no change in status.

Q: Does pricing change?
A: There will be no changes to pricing at this time.

Q: How will you work with Care@work?
A: We are excited about this integration. We working on a plan and will share that with you as soon as possible.

Q: Will you be available in other geographies?
A: We are actively working on expanding to new geographies.
